Karachi: PTI has now started elections in different areas for achieving their goals and a corner meeting was arranged by Aslam Khaliq (Founder and secretary Rotary Club of Karachi Nexus, Former Counselor Cantonment Board Clifton) and Kauser Aslam (Former President of Rotary Club of Karachi Nexus, assistant governor Rotary International and Coordinator of Federal Government in Sindh). It was held on 4th September for Dr. Parvez Ghaffar of Ward 4 at Aslam Khaliq’s residence. Following are the main problems they’ll work on in Clifton:
According to them they’ll provide tankers only to those areas which are having no line connections, clean and family friendly beach, regular maintenance of sewerage lines, ensure no sewerage from CBC area is dumped into the ocean without treatment and all drains and watercourses, improvement of garbage collection, policy making for empty plots, a safe and secure DHA for residents and visitors to feel safe, command and control rooms for monitoring of cameras, registration of home support staff and vehicles, building of mortuary and cold storage for the residents of DHA and adding graveyards to enhance capacity.
Their upcoming Federal funded projects includes; making streets safe for pedestrians, street lights in whole of DHA and Cantonment Board Clifton (CBC) administrative areas, up gradation of drainage system, replacement of damaged water supply lines, night vision safety cameras and storm drainage water at Phase 6 DHA.
They are striving for a better living environment and their first step is to stand with the residents by listening to their issues and solving them out. This is a step forward NAYA PAKISTAN and we all should come out and vote to make them as strong so that they can achieve their goals.
