Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has decided to file a judicial reference against Chief Election Commissioner Sikandar Sultan Raja.
A party leadership meeting was held under the chairmanship of PTI Chairman Imran Khan, in which the issue of the meeting of the Election Commission members with the delegation of the government alliance was taken into consideration.
Fawad Chaudhry, Farrukh Habib and Babar Awan also participated in the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf meeting.
Sources say that the role of the Election Commission in the PTI prohibited funding case was reviewed, while it was decided in the meeting that the two provincial assemblies will bring a no-confidence motion against the Election Commission.
Sources say that Imran Khan directed that the legal experts start working on the reference against the Chief Election Commissioner.
