Hyderabad: Public School Hyderabad won in both categories of Tug of War Boys event organized at Iqbal Day Sports Festival Hyderabad under the slogan “Ab Khele Ga Hyderabad” while Alibaba Government Boys Degree College Kotri & Government I.T College Gurungar secured the 2nd & 3rd position respectively in Senior Men’s category.
In boys juniors, the STEM school Sky Town secured second position while Government Comprehensive Higher Secondary School Latifabad secured third position. The competition was held at Public School Hyderabad under the supervision of DSO Maryam Keerio.
According to event organizer Secretary Hyderabad Divisional Tug of War Association and Director Physical Education Government Girls Degree College Kotri Aisha Irum, all the competitions were very tight & muscles broken Kotri College and The STEM School Tug Warriors gave the public school a tough competition. On this occasion, Principal Public School Hyderabad Iqbal Memon was the chief guest while Vice Principal Fazal Deen Memon and Sports Officer Rehan Shaikh were the guests of honour.
Upon the arrival of the guests, event organizer Aisha Irum, tournament director Pervez Ahmed Sheikh, member organizing technical committee Ahmed Nawaz, Syed Salman Jafri, Muhammad Iqbal and Ramiz Raja presented them with bouquets and gifts of Ajrak and introduced the teams to them.
Yar Muhammad Qumbrani, Muhammad Ali Qumbrani, Muhammad Amin, Shoaib Rizvi, Mohiuddin Sheikh, Saadat Ali, Syed Faham Ali, Master Faisal Khan and others were present on this occasion. The matches were supervised by Syed Adnan, Anila Mehwish, Zaheeruddin, Zaryab Ali, Javed Dero, Babar Ali Samo, Haider Ali Chandio, and Nabeel Khan.
