Karachi, Pakistan – September 2025 – Pro AI Global, Pakistan’s first global AI community recognized at both national and international stages, proudly launched the Pro AI Women Council and hosted the country’s first Women in AI Meetup in Karachi.
The exclusive session was houseful, with 100+ women leaders, professionals, entrepreneurs, housewives, and innovators joining to exchange ideas, explore opportunities, and shape the future of Artificial Intelligence in Pakistan.
At the event, Ammara Aftab, Founder of Pro AI Global, stated:
> “Our vision goes beyond providing opportunities for women in AI. It is about creating a generation that is AI-ready. As women are often the first teachers of future leaders, empowering them with AI knowledge ensures a stronger, brighter future for Pakistan.”


Sarwat Naseem, Advisory Board Member of Pro AI Global, added:
> “This initiative is a landmark for women in Pakistan. Through the Women in AI Council, we will not only provide access to advanced technology and knowledge but also open doors for leadership opportunities at both national and international levels.”


The launch of the Pro AI Women Council is aligned with Pakistan’s National AI Policy, the UNESCO Recommendation on the Ethics of Artificial Intelligence, and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), highlighting Pro AI Global’s commitment to inclusivity, empowerment, and ethical AI adoption.
Pro AI Global also extended special thanks to its founding members and male supporters, including: Omer Khan, Azam Mughal, Faraz, Faizan Abbas, Tahseen Islam, Furqan, Syed Azmat, and Wasiq, whose encouragement and support helped turn this vision into reality.
This historic milestone marks the beginning of a women-led AI movement in Pakistan. Upcoming initiatives include Pro AI Women Connect sessions, an AI leadership exchange program, and Pakistan’s first Women in AI Conference.
