Karachi: Dr. Arif Alvi President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in his capacity as president of the Pakistan Red Crescent Society has been appointed Sardar Shahid Ahmed Laghari as Chairman of the Pakistan Red Crescent Society for three years.
Prominent Businessmen Sardar Shahid Ahmed Laghari is Chairman of Laghari Group of Companies. He is CEO of Airmax Travel Pvt. Ltd. 23 years of continuously evolving Travel & Tourism Hajj & Umrah Industry. He is a member of the Travel Agent Association of Pakistan, the Hajj Organizers Association of Pakistan, and the IATA International Air Transport Association. He is Deputy Convenor Overseas Employment Promoter Committee FPCCI. He served in the Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce & Industries as Executive Committee Member, Chairman Pakistan Saudi Business Council FPCCI, and Convener Religious Affairs Committee FPCCI. Currently, he is elected as a Member of the Central Executive Committee of Pakistan Overseas Employment Promoters Association of Pakistan (PEOPA), United Business Group of FPCCI, and Rotary Club of Karachi Nexus.
