Powerful personalities of business community should play a role for the economic stability of the country and the solution to the political crisis : Sheikh Umar Rehan.

Karachi (March 15, 2023) Former president of Korangi Association of Trade and Industry (KATI) and former chairman of FPCCI Standing Committee for Vegetable Oil and Ghee, Mr. Sheikh Umar Rehan, has told the leaders and influential personalities of the business community across Pakistan, that the country for the stability of the economy and the solution of the current political crisis, they should play their positive role and provide suggestions to the government to make the country’s institutions that are running at a loss. We have earned money by doing business in the country, instead of watching the spectacle, we all have to come forward to improve the current poor economic situation of our country. This is the only thing to do! Sheikh Umer Rehan said that there is dire need to bring reforms in the country. The country’s stability is related to economic prosperity and the government should bring about positive policies in this regard in consultation with businessmen, so that we can develop more than the neighboring countries. He told Prime Minister, Mian Shahbaz Sharif, that  doing business is not the job of the government, but it is the work of the private sector, so the government should take the business community along. The leaders of all political parties should sit at a table and resolve their disputes while not involving the army in political disputes. This is not the time for politicians to call each other thieves or better themselves. This is the time to rise above the crisis and strengthen the country’s economy. So, the politicians need to save the country together instead of fighting each other.
