Malik Khuda Baksh said that the cheap petrol scheme could have been controversial in the future and could have caused serious disputes between petroleum dealers and consumers. The government’s decision to stop the implementation of this scheme is correct. Malik Khuda Bakhsh while congratulating Petroleum Minister Mossadegh Malik on the start of oil import from Russia said that it is a fact that due to increase in oil import from Russia, the prices of petroleum products will increase. There will be a clear shortage. The Vice Chairman of Pakistan Petroleum Dealers Association added that the government’s decision to upgrade the existing refineries and set up new refineries is also welcome because the upgrading of the refineries will make petrol and diesel cheaper and the consumers in the rising inflation.
