PCC-USA Newly Elected EBD for the Term 2023-24 was sworn in on Sunday 01 Jan, 2023 at elegant ceremony at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Hotel on I-10.
Consul General of Pakistan Hon. Abrar H. Hashmi administered the oath to the newly elected EBD now led by President Amir Piprani and new Chair Advisory Council Gul Faraz Khan was also sworn-in. PJ Khan Swati stepped aside & received honor for his 3 terms / 6 years span serving as the Chair Advisory Council. President Amir Piprani in his acceptance speech thanked Allah (SWT) and then his family for supporting his all endeavors in life. He narrated his socio-political activism story from JC’s Karachi to PAGH and then 8 years with PCC-USA.
He is team player and has his short term and long term goal to take this org to its next level of excellence. He has an excellent team of doers, first time fours highly educated & experience ladies. Farah Farah D. Iqbal is most senior in PCC and also most talented in IT, graphic design, Media, she is the presenter and Director of TV-One global. Vice President Wahid Lala is the largest Importer of Desi Pakistan products & brands. Treasurer Mr. Qamar Sheikh is vast experience in marketing & travel business. He is most loyal Finance Director of PCC past 12 years. Another Director Shoaib Rehman owns a large printing enterprise and this is his 2nd term in PCC. New Director Talha is a very successful executive in Hospitality business. President Piprani has a great team of talents folk and he cannot have excuse not to beat the records of his predecessors.
His bright and beautiful daughter Minnah a Student at UT Austin, did beautiful invocation from the Holy Qur’an and also introduced her father President Piprani for acceptance speech as the President.
Farah D. Iqbal as usual performed as MC.
Dr. Asaf Qadeer Patron in Chief PCC-USA completed his term and received award for his services. President Amir Piprani gave away three appreciation awards to; CG Hon. Abrar H. Hadhmi, Director Shoaib Rehman and Director Talha.
Director Zara very articulately presented the “Thank you note” concluding the session.
PCC-USA was formed in January 1995 but it was official launched on August 14th, 1997 with a 50 founding members to compliment Pakistan’s Golden jubilee to mark its 50th Independence Day. This year PCC-USA will be celebrating its 25th Silver Jubilee, Quarter of a Century of dedicated service to our business community.
