LAHORE : PAT chief Dr Tahirul Qadri has said that his party will fully support Imran Khan if he acted upon his speech.
In a statement on Saturday, he said that those leveling the allegations of rigging had not talked about the intervention of the Army.
“It is confusion to launch a movement without providing proofs,” he said.
The PAT chief said that Nawaz Sharif is in jail on corruption charges and his sentence is not related to the electoral process.
“We are waiting for the arrest of the killer of 14 people Shehbaz Sharif,” he said.
He said that the country embroiled in economic and diplomatic crises needs an active and independent foreign policy. “The convict Nawaz Sharif isolated the country by keeping the portfolio of the Foreign Ministry with him,” he maintained.
Dr Tahirul Qadri said that it is time to purge the institutions of personalities and influence in order to restore their credibility.
