All participants are advised to observe the following entry and security requirements for access to the Rayburn House Office Building:
1. Arrival Time
• Please arrive 30 minutes before the scheduled program time to allow for security screening and building navigation.
2. Building Entrance
• Enter through the main entrance of the Rayburn House Office Building (South Capitol Street entrance).
• Upon entry, proceed through U.S. Capitol Police security screening.
3. Identification Requirement
• A valid government-issued photo ID (passport or driver’s license) is required for entry.
• No ID may result in denial of access by security.
4. Security Screening
• All visitors must pass through airport-style screening including X-ray inspection of bags and metal detector screening.
• Avoid bringing large bags or unnecessary items to expedite entry.
• Prohibited items are not permitted inside federal buildings.
5. Program Verification
• Participants may be asked to provide an invitation, confirmation message, or official attendee status to access Room 2060.
• Please keep your digital or printed invitation readily available.
6. Dress & Conduct
• Business or professional attire is recommended.
• Participants are expected to comply respectfully with U.S. Capitol Police and House staff instructions at all times.
7. Special Access Needs
• Individuals requiring mobility or accessibility assistance should notify the organizer in advance for coordination with Capitol facilities.
8. Photography & Media
• Photography inside the building may be restricted in certain areas.
• Media personnel must follow House Communications & Capitol Police guidelines.
Pakistan Policy Institute USA will provide an official list of participants and registered guests for the Inter-Parliamentary Dialogue at the Rayburn House Office Building. Only individuals whose names appear on this list will be permitted entry into the IPG meeting.
All participants and visiting delegates are requested to confirm their attendance with any one of the following by January 19th, for both the Rayburn and National Press Club programs:
