Parliamentary Secretary for Ministry of National Heritage and Culture visits Quaid e Azam Mausoleum, lauds efforts of QMMB for maintenance of Quaid’s final resting place
The Parliamentary Secretary for Ministry of National Heritage and Culture, Ms. Farah Naz Akbar visits Quaid e Azam Mausoleum. She was warmly received by Resident Engineer (QMMB) Abdul Aleem Shaikh, Officers and Official of Ministry of National Heritage and Culture.

She was also toured different portions of Mazar e Quaid, including resting place of Quaid e Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah, Fatima Jinnah and other national leaders buried at the Mausoleum where she recited fateha, laid wreath and paid homage to the founding father and other leaders of the Nation.
She also inspected the Museum which contained personal belongings of the Father of Nation, and lauded efforts of QMMB for preserving it.

Later, she was briefed about the Quaid e Azam Mazar Management Board’s and Quaid e Azam Academy’s working. Where she directed the authorities to pace up plan for preservation of boundary wall of the Mazar. Moreover, she also offered her every possible help with regard to the installation of 50 MW solar project, devised by QMMB.

Moreover, she appreciated Quaid e Azam Academy for holding regular interactive activities (Mushairas, Seminars, Art Competitions, Essay Competitions, Quiz) in celebrating and propagating the life of Quaid e Azam, but deplored that such activities are only being organized in Karachi, therefore, she directed the concerned to devise plans for holding such activities in other cities as well.
