KARACHI, PAKISTAN, 25-06-2025 : State Life Insurance Corporation of Pakistan (SLIC), the country’s largest life insurance corporation, today announced a strategic partnership with Mall Maweshi E-Store Pvt. Ltd., Pakistan’s leading digital livestock marketplace platform. The collaboration will integrate specialized life insurance products into Mall Maweshi’s digital platform, providing Pakistan’s livestock farmers with accessible, tailored insurance coverage for the first time.
The partnership addresses a significant market gap, initially targeting livestock farmers within Mall Maweshi’s 50,000+ user community who often serve as primary income earners for their families. Currently, these farmers have limited access to formal life insurance products despite facing substantial financial risks in their agricultural operations.

Under the memorandum of understanding, SLIC will develop and provide specialized Farmer Life Insurance products optimized for distribution through Mall Maweshi’s digital marketplace. The platform will enable seamless integration of insurance offerings alongside livestock trading activities, creating a comprehensive ecosystem for agricultural commerce and risk management.
The collaboration will feature streamlined data sharing protocols to facilitate accurate risk assessment and pricing, with Mall Maweshi providing relevant user data including verified farmers information.
