Karachi: Pakistan’s largest exhibition in the health sector, the 20th Health Asia Exhibition, saw a significant turnout from the general public throughout the day at 13 stalls set up by 10 different institutes affiliated with the Dow University of Health Sciences. Particularly, people continued to visit Dow Lab’s stall to get free sugar tests, and the staff at the stall provided necessary precautions and other relevant information along with immediate results. Dow University is represented by Dow University Hospital, Dow Institute of Biomedical and Pharmaceutical Sciences,


Dow Institute of Life Sciences, Dow Institute for Advanced Biological and Animal Research, Dow Dental, Dow College of Biotechnology, Dow University Business Innovation Center, Dow School Development Center, Dow Institute of Radiology, and Dow Diagnostic Research and Reference Laboratory. The Dow School Development Center also displayed prepared lab coats and other clothing items for students, drawing public attention. On this occasion, Dr. Mumtaz Baloch, a representative from Dow University Hospital, mentioned that medical check-up facilities, including monitoring sugar and blood pressure, are available at Dow University Hospital’s stall. All services, including general illnesses, heart surgery, liver, kidneys, and bone marrow transplants, are provided, and the fees for these services are also reasonably priced
