The meeting exemplified the collaboration between young individuals and diplomats, fostering mutual understanding and progress building enabling spaces for young people to meet the stakeholders and meaningfully participate in the longer run for national and global development.
Mr. Danish Tariq, a prominent youth activist representing Pakistan at The Fund For American Studies, International Summer School at Charles University in Prague, had the honor of meeting the Ambassador of Pakistan to the Czech Republic, Mr. Muhammad Khalid Jamali at the Pakistan Embassy in Prague, Czechia, where Danish Tariq shared his remarkable experiences and contributions in the fields of youth development, sustainable development, advocacy and family planning.
Danish is currently specializing in Governance and Public Policy at the University of Lahore, and holds pivotal positions in various organizations, including his role as a Program Officer at Chanan Development Association, as the Governing Board Member at Youth Advocacy Network, and as an Advisory Member at NextGen RH Community of Practice. Additionally, Danish Tariq has previously served as the first FP2030 Youth Focal Point from Pakistan and a Fellow at Population Reference Bureau showcasing his commitment to global development and collaborative initiatives.
During the meeting, Danish discussed national, regional, and international affairs pertaining to Pakistan’s progress. Ambassador Jamali praised Danish’s achievements, commending his commitment to young people and development work.
