A society in which men are considered as protectors of women they are the ones who are
actually exploiting them. Their fragile misogynistic ego has raised so much they can’t even
handle rejection from a woman anymore.
Through our media and society their mindsets have been become fully filled with toxic
masculinity and they think women are their property and if their opinion doesn’t matches with
them means they’re inviting death. This mindset is making our Pakistani society regressive for
women. An incident like this occurred in June 2025 in which a famous influencer SANA YOUSAF
was brutally murdered by one of her male followers in her own house on her birthday only
because of the sole reason that she rejected his proposal. This incident sparked horrors and
frustration across the country and it showed how backward we are as a society.
I would like to appeal to people through your esteemed newspaper that we should educate our
son to respect women not to control them in this way our society will become more progressive
for everyone.
