Top military leaders of Pakistan and China met in Beijing. The Pakistani delegation was led by Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa. The global and regional security situation was discussed during the meeting.
According to ISPR, the delegation visited China from June 9 to 12 and spoke in detail with Chinese military and government officials. The delegation led by General Qamar Javed Bajwa also attended the Pak-China Joint Military Cooperation Committee meeting. They expressed satisfaction over the international and regional security situation and defense cooperation.

The committee meeting also agreed to continue the strategic partnership and exchange of delegations in the context of mutual interest. The two sides also pledged to enhance cooperation in the fields of training, technology and counter-terrorism.
