Islamic Republic Pakistan, an atomic country having an important geographical and strategic importance in the world. Pakistan which have lots of natural resources and having talented and potential human resources but still Pakistan stuck in many problems like Corruption, Poverty, Unemployment, Illiteracy etc.
Now question arises that how these problems are resolve and when these problems are resolve? In every general election, all political parties promises with the people of Pakistan, that if they come in power, they will resolve their problems and increase their living standard.
In reality, people of Pakistan do not have basic rights, they are suffering from health issues as our government hospitals are not up to the international standards, and all people are not able to bear the expenses of private hospitals, still many children’s are out of school and as per “UNICEF” Pakistan has the world’s highest number of out of school children, youngster’s have degree but still unable to get a get a good job’s.
Research tells that technology can helps to reduce and resolve any issues/problems, and with adoption and implementation of technology in all sectors, Pakistan can progress with fast pace, but it’s a bitter reality that Pakistan too much lack in adopting technology, from pin to heavy machinery, we rely on other countries and import all the things and not make any efforts to manufacture such things locally within Pakistan. Truth is that, we are not interested and not doing quality research work, that’s why we are deprived from the advantages of technology.
In Pakistan, our all elections become controversial, and no one accept the mandate of winning party and every time runner up party said that they loose election because of rigging and winner claims that their victory is transparent. Now question arises that why all political parties are not sit together for the permanent solution of such an important issue.
In real democracy it is necessary that election must be fair, transparent and undisputed. For solution of such problem political parties needs to utilize electronic voting system to make election transparent, on which all people believe and respect the winning party mandate.
Our honorable Prime Minister “Imran Khan” also urge his government to implement technology in all sectors and also said that technology is the only solution to bring transparency and also said that in next general election, electronic voting machine will be use, which will make election transparent and its result will be acceptable for every one and all political parties will respect the wining party mandate.
Currently in COVID-19 pandemic, people understands the importance of virtual learning, and globally people move towards virtual learning / online learning platforms as physically schools, colleges, universities are shut / close all over the world.
Globally, It’s true that accepting e-learning platform is a big challenge for educational institutes and also for the student’s and their parent’s, as many people faced connectivity issues, some people do not have sufficient latest equipment’s / technology, but Pakistan most affected with these issues because Pakistan educational institutes are not used to / familiar with virtual learning platforms / e-learning technology and only few educational institutes exist in Pakistan which offers virtual learning programs.
Due to lack of technological infrastructure and student’s interest, educational institutes do not offer sufficient distance learning / online learning programs.
In COVID-19 pandemic launch of P.T.V “teleschool” is the great initiative by government of Pakistan to promote education virtually and it is also the best example of distance learning.
Currently Pakistan role in technological advancement is not sufficient and we always take time to adopt the technology, that’s the core reason of our backwardness, that we are not taking technology importance seriously.
If we implement upgraded technology in our all sectors including Banking sector, NADRA, F.B.R etc. this will help in reducing our many problems and also helps in building Digital Pakistan.
