KARACHI: Pakistan Excellence Club (PEC) in collaboration with Sarfaraz Rafiqui Shaheed Hospital Karachi jointly organized the vaccination camp for Covid19 at Sarfaraz Rafiqui Shaheed Hospital Karachi. A special session was arranged on the occasion with the advice of expert doctors and celebrities on precautionary measures against Coronavirus along with the vaccination drive. The participants encouraged the doctors and health workers of the hospital and paid rich tributes to them.
The Chief Guest of the event was DIG Motorway Police Sindh Ali Sher Jakhrani whereas special guests included Patron-in-Chief of Pakistan Excellence Club Muhammad Iqbal Qureshi, Chairman Pakistan Excellence Club Hameed Bhutto, M.S Sarfaraz Rafiqui Shaheed Hospital Karachi Dr. Ameer Solangi, Director Iqbal Ahmed, Colonel Muhammad Rizwan, PEC Executive Members including Dr. Zahid Hassan Ansari, Hakim Narejo, PRO of Sarfaraz Rafiqi Shaheed Hospital Karachi Rao Karam Hussain, Incharge Covid Vaccination Centre Dr. Uzma Shah and others were present as well.
On the Vaccination Camp occasion, Patron-in-Chief of Pakistan Excellence Club Muhammad Iqbal Qureshi in his presidential address said that the nation can never forget the excellent services of doctors and paramedical staff during COVID epidemic. He also said that a memorial of Sarfaraz Rafique Shaheed will be erected at the hospital by Rotary International and Pakistan Excellence Club in the name of the hospital while all possible help will be extended to the hospital. He said that doctors and medical personnel are our heroes and it is our duty to appreciate their services.
DIG Motorway Ali Sher Jakhrani said that Motorway Police Sindh will present Guard of Honor to such heroes of the country who serve Pakistan selflessly and encourage such people.
Chairman Pakistan Excellence Club Hameed Bhutto said that we have the excellence to serve Pakistan and to fight the front line main code. People who own we are proud of their excellence and instead of taking the code as a joke, we should try to avoid Covid19 in every form.
MS of Sarfaraz Rafiqui Shaheed Hospital Dr. Ameer Solangi said that the doctors and staff of Sarfaraz Rafiqui Shaheed Hospital are serving humanity together with the support of the people who serve humanity along with the government. We have to serve our nation together.
Colonel Muhammad Rizwan said that doctors along with Pakistan Army and other institutions have been playing an important role in every war of defense of the country which can never be forgotten.
PEC Executive Member Dr. Zahid Hassan Ansari said that vaccines should be made mandatory to prevent corona and the nation needs to be made more aware. We have to save the lives of the nation along with our own lives.
Executive Member Hakim Narejo said that the Excellence Club is playing its role for the development of Pakistan and the betterment of the nation.
PRO Sarfaraz Rafiqui Shaheed Hospital Rao Karam Hussain said that by conducting various programs with Pakistan Excellence Club, they have played a major role in creating awareness in the nation.
In-charge of Covid Vaccination Center Dr. Uzma Shah said that with Covid Vaccine, we can save our lives and the lives of our loved ones. We must get vaccinated. Other doctors and distinguished guests addressed the gathering. The program was hosted by Hanif Sagar, a well-known composer of television and radio. While a large number of members of the Pakistan Excellence Club and their families were vaccinated against Covid-19 at the Centre (vaccination camp).
