Karachi, December 7, 2025: A luncheon reception was hosted at the Karachi Gymkhana on Saturday, December 6, 2025, to honor Mr. Muhammad Shoaib Qadri on his nomination as President of the Sindh Chapter of the Pakistan SADC Chamber Trade Federation (PSCTF). The event was attended by distinguished guests including Mr. Ishaq Shinwari, Director General, Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP); the host and Vice President PSCTF, Syed Moiz Uddin; Dr. Zahid Ansari, FPCCI Convener & Chairman, Health; along with prominent members of the local business community.

Vice President PSCTF Syed Moiz Uddin welcomed the attendees and briefed them on the aims and objectives of the Federation, emphasizing its role in promoting trade between Pakistan and Southern African countries. He highlighted the need to capitalize on the rapidly expanding market in the SADC region, which presents significant opportunities for Pakistani exporters and investors.
Referring to the 2nd Pak–Africa Trade Summit held by the PSCTF in Johannesburg, he termed the event a milestone in advancing bilateral trade relations. He noted that under the leadership of Chairman Mr. Muhammad Rafiq Memon, the PSCTF is committed to identifying further opportunities for Pakistani businesses in the African market—particularly the SADC region—through increased engagement and the organization of trade-focused initiatives.

In his remarks, Mr. Muhammad Shoaib Qadri expressed gratitude to the guests for their presence and reaffirmed his commitment to advancing trade ties between Pakistan and Southern Africa. He thanked the Federation, especially its Founder Chairman Mr. Muhammad Rafiq Memon, for placing trust in his capabilities. Mr. Qadri expressed confidence that the Sindh business community would extend its full support in achieving the Federation’s strategic objectives.

TDAP Director General Mr. Ishaq Shinwari commended the PSCTF’s efforts to enhance Pakistan’s trade volume with Southern Africa. He assured that TDAP would continue supporting such initiatives aimed at strengthening Pakistan’s global trade footprint. Mr. Shinwari also conveyed his appreciation for the Federation’s leadership in both Pakistan and South Africa and extended best wishes for their future endeavors.
