Islamabad, Pakistan – A delegation from the Pakistan-Romania Business Council (PRBC), comprising Atif Farooqi, Advisor and COO Pakistan Romania Business Council, and Asad ur Rehman Khan, Group MD of Oceanic Group, held a productive meeting with Engineer Amir Muqam, Federal Minister of Kashmir Affairs, Gilgit Baltistan and States & Frontier Regions. The objective was to bolster bilateral trade ties between Pakistan and Romania.
Discussions centered on identifying opportunities for trade enhancement and economic cooperation, with both parties reaffirming their commitment to nurturing a strong business relationship and exploring areas of mutual benefit.
Beyond trade talks, the PRBC officials also committed to mobilizing the business community in support of relief efforts for the flood-devastated regions of KPK and the Northern areas. The council will spearhead initiatives to mobilize resources and support to mitigate the suffering of those affected.
“We are dedicated to not only strengthening trade relations between Pakistan and Romania but also to contributing to the welfare of our communities in need. We will work assiduously to mobilize support for the flood-affected areas,” emphasized Atif Farooqi, Advisor and COO Pakistan Romania Business Council.
This meeting represents a significant milestone in advancing Pakistan-Romania relations and fostering economic cooperation between the two nations.
