Chairman DIN Group, Former Chief Executive of Trade Development Authority of Pakistan, Former President of FPCCI and Patron-in-Chief of United Business Group (UBG) S M Muneer has said that in next year, our UBG Group won the election once again by a landslide in the annual election of FPCCI. He has expressed his confidence that there is a strong prospect of further enhancing trade relations with Canada in the future. He also expressed these views while addressing a dinner hosted in his honor by Chairman UBG Canada Mr. Navaid Bukhari, Pakistani Consul General Abdul Hameed, Canadian Businessman Samir Dossal, SM Irfan, Mr. Mehboob Sheikh and Mian Muhammad Ahmed were also present.
What about Trade between Pakistan and Canada?
He said that bilateral trade between Pakistan and Canada needs to be further enhanced and we are working with the Pakistani Consulate in Toronto to promote bilateral trade.
What about Prime Minister Imran Khan on trade between Pakistan and Canada?
He said that Pakistan is a peaceful country and under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan, efforts are being made to expand and further improve trade relations between Pakistan and Canada. Prime Minister Imran Khan is also taking important steps including economic stabilization of the country and bringing in foreign investment in Pakistan.
Why is Canada for Trading?
He said Pakistan has excellent trade relations with other countries while Canada has become Pakistan’s best trading partner. He also said and shared his views in a meeting with Consul General Abdul Hameed during his visit to the Pakistani Consulate in Toronto.
If the trade delegations of the two countries are facilitated to visit each other’s countries frequently, hold trade exhibitions not only investors will move forward but also increase trade between the two countries, he added.
“We are working to increase Pakistani products’ access to Canadian markets and to accelerate trade because of the Pakistan Community.”

Are you satisfied with the performance of trading between two Countries?
SM Muneer praised the performance of Pakistani diplomats in Canada and said that they are engaged in positive efforts to enhance bilateral trade relations, work on modern lines to promote Pakistani products in Canadian markets and increase Pakistani exports. He said that the business community of Pakistan has come together under the banner of United Business Group in FPCCI and our Chairman Iftikhar Ali Malik and the Chairmen of all the provinces along with their team have done well with business community. UBG is a source of pride for Pakistan in foreign countries as well. We will take important decisions in the UBG working committee meeting there.
