Karachi: The World Kashmir Forum Founder Chairman Haji Muhammad Rafiq Pardesi, Commissioner Karachi Iqbal Memon, MD Sun Builder & Developer Mehmood Ahmed Khan, Sheikh Rashid Alam, Rafiq Sulaiman, Muhammad Nadeem Moaz, Haji Anees Pardesi, Qari Saleem Akhtar, Jameel Noorani, Allama Maulana Muhammad Yasir Barkati, Abdul Qadir, Asma Shah, Prof. Iram, Syed Ali, Faisal Qayyum, and political, social organizations, educational leaders while addressing the solidarity Kashmir rally said that, In Pakistan and Azad Jammu Kashmir (AJK), the day of solidarity with the oppressed but brave people of Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (JAK) is being celebrated.
The purpose of celebrating this day is to shake the conscience of the world and to expose the usurpation and atrocities in Indian-Occupied Kashmir. That Modi’s government has abolished the independent status of Occupied Kashmir through its usurping and oppressive action since August 5, 2019, and has effectively made the valley a part of India.
Today, the purpose of protests for Kashmiris in every corner of the world is the same, to awaken the global conscience, which wakes up to the small events of the world but does not see the atrocities and oppression of India on millions of people in Kashmir. Haji Muhammad Rafique Pardesi announced to the participants of the rally that this year on August 13, a grand flag-raising ceremony will be held in Azad Jammu Kashmir.
Until Kashmiris get freedom, the world can never claim to be the guarantor and trustee of a civilized and free society. The blood of Kashmiris flowing on the land of Kashmir has been disturbing the conscience of the common humanity for the last seven decades.
But big countries, including America, who claim the greatness of freedom, human rights, and human cultural values, see oppression in all other places in the world, but they always turn a blind eye to the oppression in Kashmir and this problem should be resolved. So a new garden of development and prosperity can open here and this is the destiny of South Asia.
They can play an important role in the United Nations and OIC. India should not say that Kashmir has to be free one day. The sooner he acknowledges this fact, the better it will be for the region and both countries.
The leaders said that the people of Pakistan cannot forget the Kashmir conflict. The Kashmir conflict is a result of the unfair division of the subcontinent after the end of British rule. On this occasion, the enthusiastic participants of the rally were raising loud slogans in favor of the freedom of Kashmiris and expressing their determination that the Muslims of the whole world stand with their Kashmiri brothers.
