In a statement, Ambassador at Large for Global Peace, Human Rights & Interfaith Harmony Imam Allama Muhammad Ahsan Siddiqui said UN leadership is an international platform that warns of the dangers of a clash of civilizations. The Muslim World League’s (MWL) initiative on Building Bridges between East and West, which was launched from the United Nations headquarters in New York in the presence of the United Nations headquarters in New York, with the participation of the President of the United Nations General Assembly Csaba K?rösi; the Secretary-General of the United Nations represented by his deputy Mrs. Amina Mohammed; the High Representative for the Alliance of Civilizations Miguel Moratinos; and the Special Adviser on Multiculturalism and Religions at the United Nations Arthur Wilson, and in the presence of senior United Nations leaders, representatives of the permanent missions of the UN Member States, religious leaders from different sects, bodies, civil society organizations, and academia.
