Karachi : United Business Group (UBG) and Businessmen Panel Progressive have announced the names of candidates for the posts of President, Senior Vice President and Vice Presidents in the upcoming elections of FPCCI. It was held on the occasion of the arrival of UBG Patron in Chief SM Tanveer in Karachi. According to Gulzar Firoz, the main spokesperson of UBG, a large number of UBG leaders from Punjab and Islamabad also participated in the event. President of United Business Group, Zubair Tufail, said in this context that UBG has made a bouquet of the best candidates for the FPCCI election to be held on December 30, 2023, and Atif Ikram Sheikh is the candidate for the position of president, who has also successfully served as vice president. He has taken over the post. Similarly, Saqib Fayyaz Magu, the main leader of the Businessmen Panel Progressive, is a candidate for the senior vice president from UBG. Saqib Fayyaz Maggo has also been the vice president.


Zubair Tufail said that the United Business Group and BMP Progressive have cooperated in the future. FPCCI has introduced the integrated panel of candidates for the elections 2024-2025, the candidates for the post of Associate Class Vice President will be Asif Inam, Zaki Ijaz and Asif Sakhi. While Abdul Momin Khan is the candidate for vice president from Sindh and Zain Iftikhar Chaudhry for the position of vice president from Punjab Chamber, who have been nominated by Sukkur Chamber and Khaniwal Chamber respectively. Zubair Tafel said that the first milestone of UBG patron SM Tanveer’s pledge to unite the business community has been achieved and the businessmen panel Progressive has tied up with the Hamate Group which is the FPCC. It will be a sign of I’s strength. President UBG Zubair Tafail said that our group has fielded a team of educated and qualified youth who are well versed in the issues of the business community, which will sweep with a huge majority. The presented candidates bring youth, vigor, and substantial experience in their respective trade bodies. Their economic acumen and familiarity with the impending economic challenges further enhance their candidacy for the FPCCI Elections.
