According to NDMA, the current weather pattern aligns with the seasonal outlook issued several months earlier. Therefore, authorities have continued advance coordination with federal, provincial and district administrations.

Moreover, the agency said it has been sharing risk assessments and early warnings to support preparedness and response efforts.

The forecast includes rain, thunderstorms, windstorms and dust storms across most parts of the country.

In Punjab and Islamabad, rain is expected in multiple cities including Lahore, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Multan, Gujranwala and Sialkot.

Similarly, several northern and central districts may experience thunderstorms and gusty winds during the forecast period.

NDMA has advised tourists and travellers to avoid unnecessary travel during heavy rainfall.

Furthermore, citizens have been urged to check weather updates and road conditions before travelling to northern areas.
