Sahiwal ( August 2024) : Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) successfully organized National Exporters Training Program (NETP) in Sahiwal on Monday 26th August 2024 for the manufacturers/producers/exporters/traders/service providers of dairies, foods confectionaries, textile, Auto parts, spices, agro food products, Furniture, Rice, General and IT Services. The training session were attended by different members of Sahiwal Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCI), and Associations in Sahiwal. Mr. Waqar Rasool , Deputy Manager TDAP welcomed the guests and participants. Whereas, Mr. Muhammad Kashif Riaz President (SCCI) welcomed all the guests, participants and organizer of the training session.
The training session were held as hybrid event i.e. an online and physical mode. Mr. Syed Abbas Mehdi, Executive Director Export Development Fund (EDF) delivered a brief and concise lecture on the History, Introduction, Functions and available opportunities to the exporters from the EDF. He further elaborated the financing of different projects and TDAP Annual Business Plan activities.
Ms. Afshan Uroos, Deputy Manager, TDAP trainer presented four distinct modules (Export Research, Documentation, Financing and Marketing). She further briefed about E-Commerce platforms launched by TDAP and said these Platforms would help prospective exporters in converting an export inquiry into actual exports.
Mr. Adil Mukhtar, Assistant Director, TDAP explained in details about the E-Commerce and Amazon. He explained in details about Amazon, working, selling procedure, payments redemption, and other different online platforms. In the end, Muhammad Asim Awan, Deputy Collector and Domain Officer Pakistan Single Window (PSW) delivered a brief presentation about the system. He explained the benefits of PSW.
The training session was attended by more than 60 Potential manufacturers/exporters/producers/service providers of Sahiwal, Pakpatan, Chichawatni, to take benefits from the most demanded training sessions on export mechanism. The potential exporters of dairies, foods confectionaries, textile, Auto parts, Spices, Agro food products, Furniture, Rice, General and IT Services. Services have shown keen interest in the trainings to learn export processes in order to materialize their trade potential.
Mr. Muhammad Kashif Riaz President SCCI concluded the session by presenting shield to Ms. Afshan Uroos, DM, Adil Mukhtar AD, Mr Waqar Rasool DM . TDAP officers also distributed participation certificates among participants. program concluded with a vote of thanks.
