MQM Pakistan has demanded the Prime Minister to play a role in the agreement with the PPP as a guarantor while Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has assured that every promise will be fulfilled. According to details, a delegation of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) led by Convener Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui called on Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif at Faisal Base Karachi on Saturday which lasted for 35-40 minutes.
Naveed Jamil, Wasim Akhtar and Aminul Haq were present. MQM sources said that the meeting also discussed the progress made so far on the agreement, census, electoral reforms and other issues.
The meeting also discussed future working relations including electoral alliance in local body elections. Sources said that the MQM had sought a guarantee from the Prime Minister regarding the agreement with the PPP.
