Karachi: The Rotary Club of Karachi Nexus (RCK Nexus) and Institute Management Committee (IMC) of Vocational Training Institute for Women (VTIW), Buffer Zone, STEVTA, Karachi, have signed a Memorandum of understanding (MoU) under the RCK Nexus funded “Women Empowerment Project”.
The signing ceremony was proceeded by President RCK Nexus 2021-22 Muhammad Ali Haider, Shaiyanne Malik (IMC Chairperson VTIW), and District Governor RI 3271 2021-22 Aftab Imam graced the ceremony with his presence.
This Service Contract is based on mutual agreement for the provision of vocational skills training for the single mothers in Karachi for a duration of four months course from 1st March to 30th June 2022.
Through the employable vocational skills course, the VTIW shall build the capacity of targeted single mothers, divorcees, and senior unmarried women who are in desperate need to support themselves and their dependent’s livelihood.
Another signing ceremony MoU between Rotary Club of Karachi Nexus & Sindh Microfinance Bank Limited. President & CEO Sindh Microfinance Bank Ltd., Shoaib Arif, and President RCK Nexus 2021-22 Muhammad Ali Haider signed the MoU at the ceremony held at the Vocational Training Institute (Women).
The RCK Nexus was represented by the Assistant Governors Zone 4 IR 3271/ PP Kausar Aslam, Founder & Executive Secretary Aslam Khaliq, Assistant Treasurer Parveen Khan, Educational Chair 2021?22 Sumaira Izhar, Zakat & Sadqa Chair 2021?22 Junaid Abdul Kader, CEO & Curator – ArtKaam Junaid Hamid, General Manager, Marketing & PR Patients Welfare Foundation Syeda Sara Zafar Ali, Arshila Hussain, whereas representatives for Vocational Training Institute for Women included, Principal Naheed Nasir.
