Mrs. Malahat Awan has joined the Board of Directors Gas & Oil Pakistan Ltd. Mrs Awan brings with her more than 26 years of professional experience in various national and international organizations. She has a Masters degree in Economics with majors in HR and Marketing. She is also a certified director and currently is serving as Director Corporate Relations and Communications on the board of Institute of Business Administration. Previously, she served as the CEO of British Business Centre and as Manager Corporate Affairs at the British Deputy High Commission.
Malahat Awan has also served as Deputy Director of Asian Development Bank and as Company Secretary of United Nations Development Program (UNDP). She also held key positions with Government of Pakistan as Section Officer/Deputy Director/Staff Officer to the Chairman in National Highway Authority and National Assembly Secretariat. She is also a certified Director.
