Islamabad: Major (Retd.) Masood Sharif Khan Khattak, father-in-law of Pathfinder Group Chairman Zarrar Sehgal, brother of Co-chairman Ikram Sehgal and father of Hassan Sharif & Kashmala Sharif Sehgal, passed away early yesterday morning.
With deep grief and sorrow, I would like to intimate to you the sad demise of Maj (Retd.) Masood Sharif Khan Khattak father of Kashmala Sharif Sehgal and father-in-law of Zarrar Sehgal Chairman Pathfinder Group who passed away peacefully in his sleep earlier this morning today. I have personally lost my brother. May Allah rest his soul! His family announced in a statement.
To give time for his son Hassan Sharif Khan, Kashmala Sharif Sehgal and son-in-law Zarrar Sehgal to reach Pakistan for the Namaz-e-Janaza, it will be held at 10 am at Motamar Al Islami F-6 Markaz, Islamabad on Tuesday Jan 31, 2023. The burial will take place at his ancestral home in Karak after Asr prayer the same day.
As a mark of respect, all personnel of Pathfinder Group throughout Pakistan will wear black armbands on their left arm for three days, starting Monday Jan 30, Tuesday Jan 31 and Wednesday Feb 1st.
