KARACHI – Khushhali Microfinance Bank Limited, the leading microfinance institution in Pakistan, in continuation of its efforts, to elevate the role of women in the corporate sector, organized a special event to celebrate National Working Women’s Day at its corporate office in Islamabad.
To celebrate the efforts and contribution of women at work, Khushhali Microfinance Bank organized multiple programs, led by Human Resources department, to recognize, honor, and appreciate their commitment and excellence.
The event also featured an exclusive session for the female students representing various universities, which shed light on the bank’s business model, the emerging microfinance sector, and how Khushhali Microfinance Bank has consistently been leading the industry through timely implementation of customer centric policies and technology.
Moreover, four talented female students were offered academic internships for a period of eight weeks to learn and gain first-hand experience from corporate functions through its first virtual recruitment drive. The drive was conducted from Khushhali Microfinance Bank corporate office, Islamabad, in collaboration with multiple universities across the nation to further enhance the efficacy of student outreach programs.

Despite all the hardships they face, working women in Pakistan have refused to give in to the patriarchy in the society and have proven their commitment to working shoulder-to-shoulder with men. To acknowledge their contribution, December 22nd was designated as “National Working Women’s Day” by the government.
