Karachi: Kashmir Day was observed by World Kashmir Forum to express solidarity with Kashmiris. Dr. Mirza Ikhtiar Baig Chairman Baig Group & former SVP FPCCI, congratulate Chairman World Kashmir Forum Haji Rafiq Pardesi Secretary-General Justice ® Anwar Mansoor Khan & Shaikh Rashid Alam for organizing the event. Dr. Baig informed that recently in Karachi he had a meeting with Sardar Yaqoob Khan former President & PM of AJ&K at a press briefing and it was announced that World Kashmir Forum will celebrate Kashmir Solidarity Day with zeal & enthusiasm.
Dr. Baig recalled that he invited Mishaal Malik w/o freedom fighter Yasin Malik first time to Karachi in October 2019, to speak on the Kashmir struggle, also attended by diplomats including the Consul General of Turkey Tolga Ucak who vocally supported Pakistan’s stance on Kashmir and assured their support to Kashmiri people. Mishaal Malik also visited FPCCI and the business community overwhelmingly pledged their support for the Kashmir cause. It was the first event that the business community of Pakistan was on board on the Kashmir issue. Dr. Baigproposed to establish a global social media network to raise Indian aggression & brutality to Kashmiris in occupied Jammu & Kashmir. He informed that they also hosted a webinar last year on Yaum-e-Istehsal Kashmir, the first anniversary of Indian brutalities & abuses in occupied Jammu & Kashmir. Renowned politicians, business leaders, Jurists & educationalists attended as speakers and slammed the Modi-led fascist government for its action of August 5 last year when it repealed Kashmir’s special status.
Dr. Baig also thanked Pervez Loser President EU Pak Friendship Federation, for taking up the Kashmir issue at the European parliament and mustering EU support for Kashmiris brothers & sisters. He wished the World Kashmir forum all the success in their endeavors for Kashmir and hope soon their million signatures petition will be submitted to United Nations.
