Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has inaugurated a new 24/7 passport office at the NADRA Mega Center in Nazimabad, Karachi, aimed at providing convenience to citizens. The facility will remain operational round the clock in three shifts, enabling people to apply for passports at any time.
During the inauguration, the minister inspected the passport counters, interacted with the staff, and engaged with citizens visiting the center for passport and ID card services. Visitors expressed their satisfaction with the services and praised the initiative for easing the process.
Minister Naqvi also addressed concerns raised by women seeking biometric verification under the Benazir Income Support Program, issuing immediate instructions to resolve their issues. He emphasized the government’s commitment to addressing public concerns effectively.
A detailed briefing on the passport office’s operations was presented to the minister. The event was attended by DG Passport Mustafa Jamal Qazi and other senior officials.
