Karachi: Islamia College emerged victorious in the Sports for Life College Futsal Challenge by defeating APWA College 2-0 in a thrilling penalty shootout. 

The event was held at APWA College and had four teams participating, namely Khatoon e Pakistan Degree Girls College, APWA College, College of Home Economics, and Islamia College. The tournament followed a round-robin league format, and all teams performed exceptionally well. 

The prizes were distributed by Shezad Kazi, CEO of Sports for Life, and APWA College Principal Professor Rubina Shamshad. Present at the event were Sr DPE Sanober Kazmi (APWA College), Anjum Zohra (Sr. DPE College of Home Economics), Sumera Zaheer (DP Khatoon e Pakistan), and Mehwish Khan (DP Islamia College), along with Muhammad Taqi (Vice President, Sports for Life), Muhammad Haris (Coach), Waqar Ali (Coach), Nadir Ali (Coach), Sabir Baloch (Referee), and Rehan Akram (Media Coordinator, Sports for Life). 

The event attracted a sizable crowd of college students who witnessed the players’ best performances and expressed hope that more such events would be organized to enhance their skills. Shezad Kazi thanked the players, coaches, guests, media, and spectators for their support in making the event successful.
