Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman and former Prime Minister Imran Khan rejected reports of a ‘special meeting’ in Lahore.
Imran Khan wrote on his official Twitter handle that there are rumors about a special meeting in Lahore, he went back to Lahore because it was near.
The former prime minister said that it was already decided that the convoy will not be moved forward at night, for 6 months, only one demand has been made for the date of transparent elections, even if negotiations are held, the only demand will be for transparent elections.
Some time ago, sources told that the government has started negotiations with the leaders of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf regarding the long march, the second round of which will be held tomorrow.
The sources said that the negotiations with the government representatives are taking place through close friends, in which President Arif Alvi is playing an important role.
Attempts were made by the negotiators to find a middle ground, but Chairman PTI Imran Khan is in favor of completing the long march. The date of general elections is being discussed in the talks, the second round of talks will be held tomorrow.
