(Web Desk) The Election Commission has given time till September 7 to submit a reply to Imran Khan on the disqualification reference for not disclosing the Tosha Khana gifts.
A hearing was held on Imran Khan’s disqualification reference for not disclosing Tosha Khana gifts in the Election Commission. Imran Khan sought time to submit his answer on the third hearing in a row. Imran Khan’s lawyer Barrister Ali Zafar also did not appear.
Ali Zafar’s assistant Barrister Gauhar appeared in the Election Commission and said that one more week is needed to submit the answer, Ali Zafar is in Lahore, so he could not be consulted.
On this, the Chief Election Commissioner said that everything is part of the record, it should not take so much time. Lawyer Barrister Gohar said that he will try to submit the answer by the next hearing. .
The Election Commission adjourned the hearing giving Imran Khan time till September 7 to submit his reply.
