Showbiz Desk: Pakistani singer-songwriter and actress Hadiqa Kiani has admitted that she misses men in her life.
Hadiqa, who recently played the role of Mehru in a “Dobara” drama on air on Hum TV, has given a surprising answer to a question asked about her private life.
United Nations Development Programme Goodwill Ambassador Hadiqa Kiani said in an interview on the digital platform “Something Haute” that she had decided to adopt a son immediately after the failure of her first marriage. She shared this idea with her sister. Thoughts on the decision were 100% clear, even though she had thought of her son’s name.
Hadiqa Kiani also spoke about the failure of her second marriage after the first one and not being with a man in life.
She said in response to a question: “Yes, misses the man in her life and this feeling is sometimes very painful when they need someone to tell them about their success, failure, laughter, grief, tears, and pain. So, they have no one expect their son.”
Hadiqa Kiani (TI) was born 11 August, 1972 in Rawalpindi, Pakistan. She is a Pakistani singer-songwriter, guitarist, composer, actress, and philanthropist. Hadiqa received several Local and International Awards. Hadiqa live performed at the Royal Albert Hall and The Kennedy Center. She has sung several songs in the Pashto language besides Urdu and Punjabi.
In 2005, she adopted her son, Naad-e-Ali from the Edhi Foundation. In 2006, Hadiqa received the 4th highest Pakistan civilian award, the Tamgha-e-Imtiaz, for her contributions to the field of music.
From 1997 to 2003, Hadiqa was the first married to Hammad but the couple separated in 2003. In 2005, Hadiqa Kiani got a second married to UK-based Afghan businessman Syed Fareed Sarwary and separated in 2008.
In 2010, Hadiqa was the first woman in Pakistan appointed as a United Nations Development Programme Goodwill Ambassador. In 2016, Hadiqa has titled one of “Pakistan’s Most Powerful and Influential Women” in the “Power” edition of Jang Group.
