HONEST VIEW is an international award for foreign journalists and bloggers.

The III International competition “Honest View” Media Award launches on August 01, 2024.
Its goal is to find the best materials from foreign media and independent journalists and bloggers who cover the humanitarian, cultural and economic initiatives of the Russian Federation abroad, as well as joint global, interregional and international projects with participation of Russia.
Who can apply for the award?
The HONEST VIEW Media Award is public recognition of the authors of publications in the media and social networks for objectivity, journalistic integrity and unbiased attitude.
Both editorial offices of media around the world and independent journalists, authors and bloggers whose professional activities are aimed at bringing countries and nations closer together can apply for the award.
The geography of the competition covers neighboring countries, Asia and the Middle East, Europe, Africa and North and South America.
Contestants’ works will be assessed by the Expert Council and the Competition Jury consisting of reputable experts in the field of media, economic, social, and cultural areas of international cooperation.

Entry application can be submitted from August 01 to September 25, 2024.

2. Fill in the application form indicating the nomination.
3. Attach the materials of your competition project in accordance with the requirements for texts, photos and videos in the appropriate section of the web-site. Submitted materials must be published in the media or on social networks during the period from November 1, 2023 to September 25, 2024.

   • The Grand Prix – main award of the HONEST VIEW Media Award
   • The best material on social and humanitarian issues
   • The best material on international cultural partnership with Russia
   • The best material in the genre of journalism and documentaries
   • The best material of young journalists about the Russian Federation
   The nomination for young or aspiring journalists (18-25 years old) is presented for the first time. The most talented and active participants in this nomination will be invited to Moscow for Media School course in December.
   What does the Media School provide?
   • improving journalist skills
   • broadening horizons and range of knowledge
   • communication with recognized experts in the field of journalism and media.
   The Media School course includes lectures, master classes and trainings conducted by Russian and foreign experts on international relations, global challenges, modern formats of journalism and mass communication technologies with reference to covering international humanitarian projects.
   Another innovation of this year is the special nomination for the author of the material covering cooperation within EAEU, BRICS and other international projects and initiatives. The winner in this category is selected by the Competition Jury together with one of the Award’s partners.
   Competition results will be announced in December 2024 at the award ceremony in Moscow. Each nomination winner will receive a cash prize, other contestants will receive valuable prizes and gifts. The total prize fund of the competition is 6,200,000 rubles.

   The HONEST VIEW Media Award has been held for the third year and has already become a platform for uniting journalists and bloggers from all over the world.
   In 2022, 118 journalists from 28 countries took part in the competition. The award winners were contestants from Uzbekistan, Montenegro, Tajikistan, Belarus and Iran.
   In 2023, the geography of the award expanded, and the number of participants doubled: 250 works from 51 countries. Competition projects from Peru, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Nigeria, Kyrgyzstan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Finland, Iceland, Serbia, Italy and Austria were recognized as the best.
   The organizer of the HONEST VIEW Media Award and Media School is the Federal Agency for the Commonwealth of Independent States, Compatriots Living Abroad, and International Humanitarian Cooperation (Rossotrudnichestvo).
   The Operator of the Competition is the AGT Communication Agency, one of the leaders of communication industry in Russia and the CIS.
