Karachi: Pakistan People’s Party PS 104 UC 5 General Secretary Mirza Pervaiz congratulates Murtaza Wahab Siddiqui on being elected Mayor of Karachi. In a statement, Mirza Pervaiz said that the son of Karachi Murtaza Wahab will represent all sections of Karachi. He said that he is sure that Murtaza Wahab will play an active role in the construction and development of Karachi.
Mirza Pervaiz added said that today it has been proved that Karachi does not belong to any one party but to all of us.
Further Mirza Pervaiz said that he also congratulates the elected mayors, deputy mayors, district councils, town chairman, and deputy chairman of other cities of Sindh. It should be clear that People’s Party Murtaza Wahab has been elected as the mayor of Karachi.
According to the unofficial and inconclusive result, Murtaza Wahab won with 173 votes while Jamaat-e-Islami’s Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman got 160 votes.
