ISLAMABAD – Global Zalmi 2019 Annual Dinner held in Islamabad, Mayor Islamabad Sheikh Ansar Aziz, Head Coach Mohammad Akram, Deputy Mayor Zeeshan Ali Naqvi distributed souvenirs to the 16 GZL Teams.
GZL 2019 dinner takes place in Islamabad and was attended by the 16 teams competing in the Global Zalmi League 2019 happening in Islamabad. Mayor Islamabad, Sheikh Ansar Aziz, Deputy Mayor Zeeshan Ali Naqvi & Head Coach Peshawar Zalmi Mohammad Akram were present at this auspicious occasion. The mayor welcomed all the players in Islamabad and hoped that they had a great time in the capital. The captains were presented their jerseys and special souvenirs from the chief guests. All the teams had a wonderful time and are enjoying their time in the capital.
Head Coach Mohammad Akram welcomed all the teams in Pakistan and said that they are ecstatic to have them here. He has seen some amazing cricketing talent in these players and the PZ cricketing staff will visit their respective countries and promote cricket.
The teams thanked Chairman Peshawar Zalmi Mr Javed Afridi for the GZL initiative and showed full support for the further enhancement of this league. The image of Pakistan is certainly improving with respect to the efforts of Zalmi Foundation and Global Zalmi as explained by the players.
The event was followed by a qawali night which was thoroughly enjoyed by all the teams.
The final of GZL 2019 will be held in Islamabad on Sunday 31st March 2019.
