KARACHI – Final of 1st IGI Life Vitality Super League 2020 organized by Nine Sports was played between GT and GFareed on 31st October at Aleem Dar. GT scored 167 playing first and the GFareed chased it down in 19.1 overs. It was a befitting end to a wonderful tournament.
The tournament was sponsored by IGI life Vitality (lead sponsor), Dar Jewellers, Shakarganj Food Products and Good Goodies. Mr. Azhar Paracha (GM IGI Life), Mr. Hamid Mirza (Head Marketing Services Silkbank), Mr. Ahmed Dar (CEO Nine Sports), Mr. Saboor Khawaja (CSP) and Mr. Hassan Tariq attended the final amongst other dignitaries.
Speaking to the occasion Mr. Azhar Paracha praised the quality of cricket witnessed throughout the tournament and expressed how serious IGI (being the main sponsor) takes such CSR activities. He expressed that IGI will continue to play its role add back to society through such events. Mr. Hamid Mirza also appreciated the sponsors and organisers for arranging such healthy events.
Mr. Ahmed Dar thanked the sponsors for making this event possible and his team for making it a huge success. The final match was covered live on social media. A total of 8 highly competitive teams participated in the event and played 28 matches altogether majority of which ended in nail-biting finishes.
