Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has announced that 8,500 households will receive Rs10,000 each during Ramazan.
Speaking to the press outside Adiala Jail after meeting with PTI Founder Imran Khan, the newly elected chief minister stated that his leader’s zeal remains strong, and he has advocated for justice in the country.
“No one has the right to pilfer people’s mandate,” Gandapur emphasized, asserting that Imran Khan would soon be released from incarceration.
“We will establish a system where no one transgresses the Constitution, ensuring the safety of future generations,” he added.
The CM once again proposed that the Chief Justice of Pakistan establish a judicial commission on the May 9 violence cases and identify those responsible through CCTV footage.
“Our women are imprisoned in jails. We never engaged in politics to seize power,” Gandapur claimed, alleging that the federal government stole the people’s mandate.
“Attending the swearing-in ceremony of someone who stole the mandate would not have been in accordance with the Constitution,” the CM asserted, adding that he harbors no personal enmity with anyone.
“I will meet the prime minister for the sake of the province,” he emphasized, stating that he would discuss interprovincial issues and refrain from discussing mandate theft.
Regarding the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cabinet, he mentioned consulting PTI Founder Imran Khan. “The entire record is in front of the nation. You can see for yourself the difference in economic conditions between our government and theirs,” he maintained.
The CM then announced Rs10,000 each for 8,500 households during Ramazan.
He also announced protests in Peshawar on Sunday. “I received votes for the rights of the province and will go to any extent to defend them,” he asserted.
He further remarked that women in every party were like his sisters, adding that he was in a parliamentary party meeting when the PML-N MPA in KP Assembly was harassed. “When I arrived at the assembly, the incident had already occurred,” Gandapur claimed.
Despite this, he added, he had apologized to the PML-N lawmaker.
