British Deputy High Commissioner in Karachi, Mike Nithavrianakis said.
Health services in Pakistan have witnessed significant challenges due to the global pandemic. Hospitals and clinics experienced unprecedented demands on hospital beds, doctors, nurses and medical equipment due to the rising number of COVID-19 patients. This has reinforced the need for e-health to bridge the gap in healthcare access, availability and resourcing. The UK is at the forefront of transforming healthcare services by using digital solutions and developing some of the world’s most sophisticated digital systems for diagnosing, delivering and monitoring high quality, patient-centred services.
