ISLAMABAD – International Women’s Day is being celebrated worldwide, including in Pakistan, to honor women’s contributions to society and emphasize their rights.
This year’s theme, “For ALL Women and Girls: Rights. Equality. Empowerment.”, calls for collective action to ensure equal rights, power, and opportunities for all, paving the way for a more inclusive and feminist future.
Pakistani women have played a leading role in various fields, from politics and sports to education and entrepreneurship. Women from Balochistan have also made remarkable achievements, bringing pride to both their province and the nation.
On this occasion, we acknowledge their excellence in different domains, despite challenges posed by militant groups like the BLA and other extremists.
