France has shown interest in investing in Pakistan’s energy sector, as stated by a French delegation led by Deputy Head of Mission Guillaume Dabouis during a meeting with Energy Minister Dr. Musadik Masood Malik in Islamabad.The French officials expressed enthusiasm for investing in various aspects of Pakistan’s energy landscape, including LNG supply, energy resource exploration, and projects aimed at improving energy trading, distribution, and transmission within the country.Moreover, the French delegation expressed interest in initiatives aimed at reducing line losses and rejuvenating Pakistan’s energy sector as a whole.The energy minister reiterated the government’s commitment to addressing the country’s longstanding energy challenges. He emphasized a departure from fragmented strategies and assured that the new government would approach the International Monetary Fund (IMF) with a well-prepared plan.
