Islamabad: A four-day Training Workshop titled “News Reading in Digital Age” concluded at the National Broadcasting House in Islamabad on Tuesday.
Thirty five participants, including News Readers, Engineers and Anchorpersons of Radio Pakistan attended the workshop.
Speaking on the occasion, Director News and Current Affairs of Radio Pakistan, Javed Khan Jadoon said such workshops and training sessions are aimed at enhancing professional capability of the people dealing with microphone and air waves.
He said clarity of language, accent, and pronunciation are prerequisite for a good broadcaster.
He said a series of Training Workshops will be conducted for this purpose.
The Director said Radio Pakistan is a voice of the nation, which reaches every nook and corner of the country. He asked the participants to be extra vigilant while dealing with the news contents.
The event provided an opportunity to young and promising news readers to learn from the experience and knowledge of senior and seasoned professionals of the field.
At the end of ceremony, certificates were distributed among the participants of the workshop.
