To celebrate the 75th independence day of Pakistan, SITE Association of Industry organized a program in which, Sector Commander Brig. Altaf Ahmed was the Chief Guest.
SITE Patron-in-Chief Zubair Motiwala along with President Abdul Rasheed, Former President & Coordinator Saleem Parekh, Office Bearers and Executive Committee members welcomed the Sector Commander to the Association who hoisted the national flag and cut the cake to celebrate the day. The National Anthem was played on this occasion.
Wing Commander Lt. Col. Aftab Ahmed, Jahan Khan Niazi, DSP, SITE, Farooq Ahmed Lodhi, DSP Traffic, Pak Colony, S.H.O. SITE PS-A Bhai Khan, S.H.O. SITE PS-B Zawar Hussain, officials from SITE Limited, DC Keamari, Pakistan Rangers and Police attended the program.
Former President & Coordinator Saleem Parekh, SVP Saud Mahmood, VP Muhammad Kamran Arbi, Immediate Past President Abdul Hadi, Ex-SVPs Saleem Nagaria & Riazuddin, Ex-VP Abdul Kadir Bilwani and members namely Anwer Aziz, Khalid Riaz, Muhammad Riaz Dhedhi, Azeem M. Afzal Motiwala, Touseef Ahmed, Junaid Nawab, Former VP Farhan Ashrafi, Haris Shakoor, Muhammad Hussain Moosani and others were also present on this occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, the Sector Commander congratulated the participants on the occasion of independence day and stressed the need to remain united and work collectively for the betterment of the country.
Patron-in-Chief Zubair Motiwala paid tributes to the Pakistan army for their great sacrifices and selfless services for the nation and safeguarding the geographical fronts of Pakistan and also stressed the need for unity on all fronts for continued progress of the country.
President Abdul Rasheed also congratulated the participants on the happy occasion of 75th independence day. Paying homage to those who martyred during the Pakistan movement, he said that we must realize the value of independence. He stressed the business community to play their role in the industrial development of the country.
Later, Flag March of Sindh Rangers, Police personnel and Rangers Security Guards was started from SITE Association’s office which passed through different routes of SITE area. Office bearers, former Presidents and Executive Committee members also participated in the flag march. Participants expressed their emotions by chanting the slogan ‘Pakistan Zindabad.’
