Lahore, Pakistan: The Global Women Media (GWM) delegation visiting Lahore from 12th to 14th August 2021 at Governor House Punjab for the annual cultural exchange program organised by Government of Punjab. The Global Women Media (GWM) delegation is led by Founder & Chairperson Ms. Muneezay Moeen and Ambassador Ms. Hira Mani. The Governor of Punjab H.E Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar is hosting the Global Women Media delegation at Governor House.
On the first day Global Women Media’s delegation visited Walled City of Lahore Authority-WCLA, Lahore Fort, Garmhamam, Minar-e-Pakistan, Badshahi Mosque, Soorjan Street, Greater Iqbal Park, and Victoria School. On this occasion Sana Hashmi, Afsheen Qureshi, Coordinator GWM Jannat butt, Maryam Siphra Tourism Officer Walled City of Lahore Authority-WCLA, Syed Turab Shah, Protocol Officer Governor House Muhammad Arsalan, and World Tour Guide Muhammad Javed are present.
An Interactive session between H.E Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar, and members of Global Women Media to discuss the objectives of Global Women Media (GWM) for women empowerment to create a soft image of Pakistan through various cultural activities.
As on 14th August the delegation will visit Wahga Border. As the check post is popular for the ceremonial and simultaneous lowering of the flags of both countries on its Independence Day. The ceremony is accompanied by a parade and a coordinated stand-offish display by the personnel of both countries.
