Jamshoro (February 13, 2026): The Federal Minister for Planning, Development and Special Initiatives, Prof. Ahsan Iqbal, paid a visit to Shaheed Allah Buksh Soomro (SABS) University of Art, Design and Heritages, Jamshoro, where he was warmly received by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof.
Dr. Arabella Bhutto, along with faculty members and university officials.
During his visit, the Federal Minister inaugurated the newly completed Water Line from Karachi Wah (K. B. Feeder) at the university’s water reservoir area, a significant development aimed at improving water supply facilities on campus.The Minister visited various stalls and projects showcased by students under the government’s transformative 5Es Framework, focusing on export, e-Pakistan, environment, energy and infrastructure, and equity to help steer Pakistan towards sustainable economic growth and national development.
Prof. Ahsan Iqbal also interacted with students and appreciated their enthusiasm and creativity, and art skills. The students expressed their gratitude for the Minister’s visit and shared their academic and creative initiatives with him.
Speaking on the occasion, the Federal Minister, Ahsan Iqbal highlighted the importance of higher education institutions in shaping the future of Pakistan and encouraged students to actively contribute to innovation, research, and nation-building efforts.
