A Farewell Reception was hosted in the honor of Prof. (Retd.) Dr. Pir Bux Ghumro, Ex-Dean Faculty of Natural Sciences organized by the Institute of Microbiology, Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur on attaining his age of superannuation. Prof. Dr. Khalil Ahmed Ibupoto, Vice Chancellor presided over the reception.
Talking to the participants, Prof. Dr. Khalil Ahmed Ibupoto said the services of Prof. Dr. Pir Bux Ghumro are remarkable in the uplifting the Institute of Microbiology as well as in the capacity of Dean Faculty of Natural Sciences. He remarked that Dr. Ghumro is thoroughly gentleman, man of principles and simplicity. I am optimistic that he will render his meritorious services in the betterment of society with same devotion and commitment.
Prof. (Retd.) Dr. Pir Bux Ghumro, Ex-Dean Faculty of Natural Sciences said that I tried to perform my duties with devotion and utmost commitment. I firmly believe in merit, regularity and punctuality. I have produced talented students and scholars who are performing in befitting manner in the society.
Prof. Dr. Abdul Hussain Shar, Dean Faculty of Natural Sciences, Prof. Dr. Taj Muhammad Lashari, Dean Faculty of Social Sciences, Prof. Dr. Minhoon Khan Laghari, Advisor to Vice Chancellor on Academic, Prof. Dr. Akhtiar Ali Ghumro, President SALUTA, Prof. Dr. Iram Rani, Director QEC, Prof. Dr. Mir Muhammad Ali Talpur and others also spoke on this occasion. They appreciated the marvelous services rendered by Dr. Pir Bux Ghumro. They said that Dr. Ghumro remained sincere with his teaching, research and administrative responsibilities and man of integrity and he possesses highly professional skills.
Prof. Dr. Zulfiqar Ali Malik, Director Institute of Microbiology cordially welcomed the Vice Chancellor and guests in the reception. He also acknowledged the meritorious services rendered by Dr. Pir Bux Ghumro.
